System Availability

The IENS B56 Computer Lab is generally available Monday to Friday from 08:30-18:00.
It will be booked for teaching during term-time and the bookings will be displayed on the lab door, it is available for general use when not booked.

University ISS Services 'At Risk' periods are:

Networks - Tuesdays 0800-1000
This is a national systems time for networks and is used locally for campus network maintenance.
Other central machines - Wednesdays 1300-1700
Systems time for other machines may be taken to upgrade either hardware or software.
PC Labs - Wednesdays 1300-1700 . Occasionally it may be necessary to close one of the general access ISS labs for lab maintenance, but ISS will try to avoid this during term time.

Wherever possible, at least 7 days notice is given of work during the Systems or Network 'at risk' periods. Further information is available on http://www.lancs.ac.uk/iss/news
